In late 2024, Business Connexions organised a charity golf event that raised an impressive £7,000 for Wycombe Homeless Connection. Playing an active role in the day’s success – albeit not on the golf course! – Janine Heil’s efforts, as a member of Business Connexions, helped make the event a memorable one.

Based in Gerrards Cross, the Business Connexions networking group is a key supporter of Wycombe Homeless Connection. Beyond raising substantial funds, the group actively engages with the charity’s work, from championing its mission to volunteering locally. Their involvement demonstrates how businesses and charities can collaborate to create a meaningful impact in the local community.

The £7,000 raised will go toward essential services provided by Wycombe Homeless Connection, offering critical support as demand rises during the colder months. This month, Business Connexions proudly presented the cheque to James Boultbee, CEO of Wycombe Homeless Connection, in a celebration of their collective achievement.

The Business Connexions networking group managed to raise £7,000 for Wycombe Homeless Connection through a golf day in late 2024 (and various fines from the weekly meetings! 😆 )

“I’m incredibly proud of the way our Business Connexions group came together to support Wycombe Homeless Connection. This event is a great example of how businesses can actively support local charities in creating a positive impact on the community. It’s been wonderful to see our efforts contribute to such vital work.”
