Leigh Duncan proudly supports Ladies Who Dare

We are immensely proud to support one of our own, Samantha Smith, and her team, the ‘Ladies Who Dare‘, as they embark on an ambitious trek in April to raise funds for the Huntington’s Disease Association. This diverse group of ten women, united by their daring spirit, will undertake an 11-day journey through the Himalayas  – one of the most awe-inspiring landscapes on earth.

Their Himalayan adventure will lead them through remote villages and spiritual temples, hopefully spotting some wild animals along the way, and a promise to meet the Dalai Lama if he is in residence at the time. The trek will conclude with a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal, marking the end of their profound journey.

What makes this endeavour truly honourable is the team’s dedication: all expenses related to travel and guides have been personally funded by the participants, ensuring that 100% of the donations they collect will be directed towards Huntington’s Disease research. This devastating hereditary neurological condition affects the nervous system and currently has no cure.

Join us for a special fundraising event!

Before they set off, join us for an exclusive evening at Bekonscot Model Village:
